Ingredients

  • 3 cup Carrots (peeled and sliced)

  • 4 cup Homemade Chicken or Beef Bone Broth (ensure it's made without any illegal ingredients like starches or added sugars)

  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger (grated, or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)

  • 0.25 tsp Sea Salt (or to taste, if tolerated)

  • 0.5 cup Water (or more, if needed for desired consistency)

    Wash, peel, and slice the carrots into 1/2-inch rounds. Peeling is crucial for easier digestion during a flare.

    In a medium pot, combine the sliced carrots, bone broth, grated ginger, and salt. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are exceptionally tender and mushy when pierced with a fork.

    Carefully transfer the cooked carrots and broth mixture to a blender. Add 1/2 cup of water. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. If the puree is too thick, add a little more water or bone broth until you reach your desired consistency.

    Pour the warm puree into a bowl. Allow it to cool slightly before eating. Enjoy slowly, letting your body absorb the gentle nourishment.
